1. About HappyHabit

HappyHabit is a family task and reward management application operated by InnovateLabs, Kilcock, Co. Kildare, Ireland. The app allows parents and guardians to set tasks, award stars, and manage rewards for their children.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
• By creating an account, you confirm you are a parent or legal guardian
• Children do not create their own accounts — they access the app through the parent's account via Kids View
• You are responsible for all activity under your account

3. Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must not share your account with anyone outside your immediate family household
• You must notify us immediately at happyhabit.support@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access
• You are responsible for all content you add to the app including tasks, rewards, and children's information

4. Subscription Plans

HappyHabit offers the following plans:

• Free: 2 children, 3 tasks per child, 3 rewards, 7 days history, 1 PDF import per school year
• Pro (€0.99/month): 3 children, 5 tasks per child, 8 rewards, 30 days history, 2 PDF imports per school year
• Ultra (Coming Soon): Additional features as announced
• Ultimate (Coming Soon): Additional features as announced

Subscriptions are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months.

During the beta testing period, all features are available to all users at no charge.

5. PDF School Calendar Import

HappyHabit includes a feature to import school calendar events from PDF documents using AI processing (Anthropic Claude API). By using this feature:

• You confirm you have the right to upload the PDF document
• You understand the AI extraction may not be 100% accurate and you should review all extracted events before importing
• PDFs are processed in real time and not stored on our servers
• Upload limits apply per your subscription plan and reset each school year (August 1st)

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use HappyHabit for any unlawful purpose
• Upload harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
• Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or interfere with the app
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits
• Use the app in any way that could harm children

7. Children's Safety

HappyHabit is designed to support positive family dynamics. The app must not be used to:

• Impose unreasonable or harmful demands on children
• Create excessive pressure or stress for children
• Replace parental supervision or guidance

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that we believe are being used in ways that could harm children's wellbeing.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and trademarks within HappyHabit are owned by InnovateLabs. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the app without our written permission.

Content you create within the app (tasks, rewards, children's names) remains yours. You grant us a limited licence to store and process this content solely to provide the service.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

HappyHabit is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the app will be available at all times or free from errors. We are not responsible for any loss of data due to technical failures.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Irish law, InnovateLabs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of HappyHabit. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account. Upon deletion, all your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts. If you are an EU consumer, you may also have rights under the laws of your country of residence.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of HappyHabit after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
